The all-new Cobalt BBG-1070-QS 3G/HD/SD-SDI/CVBS Standalone Expandable Multiviewer with Advanced On-Screen Graphics integrates five discrete 3G/HD/SD-SDI or CVBS inputs onto a single 3G/HD/SD-SDI quint-split output, with each input image being flexibly inserted into the output image area.

Any template layout or custom layout changes can be done "on-the-fly" in real time, without tedious setup compiler or layout programs like many other split/multiviewer products. While the BBG-1070-QS offers unprecedented flexibility, it also offers an unprecedented ease of use. Fully-flexible layouts using any of several one-button template presets or fully customizable layouts using easy to use sizing/positioning custom controls. Custom layouts can be saved to user presets.

Multiple BBG-1070-QS units can be cascaded to provide splits greater than the base quint-split. The PIP5 input can be used in a cascaded chain of BBG-1070-QS units that provides multiviewer layouts of up to 8x8 (64:1). The QuickSet grid definer precisely and easily sets up a multiviewer grid where columns and rows of each of the cards PIPs are arranged to work together in a cascaded aggregate arrangement. Low-latency processing allows multiple BBG-1070-QS units to be cascaded without significant accumulated delays within the chain.

Advanced graphics such as user identify text, PiP input video format, audio meter bars, tally/UMD, reticules, and timecode can be burned into any PiP with full user attributes control. CEA 608 Ch1 text strings can serve as user text overlays, allowing direct closed captioning presence/quality compliance checks for up to 5 simultaneous video streams per unit. User-configurable Quality Check allows subjective criteria such as black/frozen frame or audio silence events to propagate an on-screen alarm/alert to the output image (such as alert text burn-in or border alert highlighting). Asynchronous inputs can be directly accommodated ? each PiP input is provided its own independent timing alignment controls with lock to reference. An HDMI output (with audio embedding) allows direct feed to a wall monitor. GPIO allows direct input routing control and status monitoring. DashBoard remote control allows easy centralized control and monitoring access.

The compact standalone form factor allows desktop usage, as well as the 1/3-rack size of the BBG-1070-QS allowing 3 units to be installed in a 1RU space (an optional mounting tray is available that provides secure mounting of the units to a standard 19? frame).

The AUDIX TM1 Plus Makes a Measurable Difference Audix is proud to announce the introduction of the TM1 Plus, a combination kit which includes the TM1 measurement microphone, threaded acoustic windscreen, shock mount clip, ½ inch calibrator adaptor and microphone calibration data on CD. The data files are a numeric representation of the TM1 frequency response. These, together with the provided sensitivity of the microphone, can be used with a variety of popular software measurement systems to correct the response curve of the microphone. VP of Sales Cliff Castle states, "The TM1 has earned very high acceptance amongst sound engineers and sound designers who rely on measurement systems to properly tune a PA system for live sound venues, theatres, houses of worship, and a wide variety of installations. Measurement software packages have become very robust and are now able to take simultaneous measurements with multiple microphones, allowing sound designers a very accurate picture of how the PA system is reacting throughout a room in real time. With the TM1 Plus, customers are able to accumulate multiple microphones, essentially creating matched sets once the data files are input into the software measurement programs." The TM1 is a 6mm pre-polarized condenser microphone that is designed, assembled and tested by Audix in Wilsonville, Oregon. The microphone features a precision machined four stage brass body and capsule housing, low noise SMT circuit, nickel plate finish, field replaceable parts, Switchraft r XLR and shock absorbent O-rings. All accessory items for the TM1 are included in the TM1 Plus to make this kit an exceptional value.

The Black Box LES301A is an LES300 Series industrial serial device server that provides remote access to serial devices across your LAN/WAN. Use your ethernet network to reliably access a remote RS-232 or RS-422/-485 industrial device from a remote workstation.

This 1-Port 10/100 device server gives you a cost-effective gateway for TCP/IP ethernet and serial signal communications, enabling nearly any serial device to be connected to a new or existing ethernet network. It does this by encapsulating serial data and transporting it over ethernet, communicating full-duplex and transmitting bidirectional data transparently between the serial port and a network.

Plus, it's easy to configure. You can do this remotely over the ethernet link using Telnet, a web browser link, a serial console, or another Windows utility. This unit comes with virtual communications software allowing you to use an existing Windows based application to access a serial device by mapping the virtual COM port to a remote serial server over ethernet.

In addition, the device server supports TCP server, TCP client, and UDP modes of communication, and serial tunneling, which you can use to send data between two serial devices via the TCP/IP link instead of RS-232, -485, or -422 connections. Link a touchscreen to a distant PLC over the ethernet network, for instance. Ideal for any manufacturing, process engineering, or automation application, the 1-Port 10/100 device server, RS-232/422/485 can also be used to communicate with a bar-code scanner, PLC, electronic Kanban inventory management device, and similar equipment on the factory floor.
