"Foo Fighters and I go way back to 1995 when they played the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, Canada on their first tour. In the 26 years since, I?ve photographed them in dozens of venues large and small. In February 2011, leading up to the release of their album Wasting Light, Foo Fighters played a series of small club shows in the Los Angeles area. This photo was taken at Spaceland in Silver Lake, which only holds about 260 people, making it the most intimate Foo Fighters show I?ve ever shot. The stage is so small that the only place I ?
