The one-man Army known as John Rambo, played by Sylvester Stallone, who is a Vietnam Veteran pushed to the edge by a small-town sheriff, starting a personal war between Rambo and anyone that gets in his way. Picking up where the second film left off, Rambo is asked by Colonel Sam Trautman to join a mercenary team for a CIA sponsored supply missiong on behalf of Anti-Soviet fighters in Afghanistan. He initially refuses the mission and the Colonel proceeds without him and get captured. Rambo sets off on a single man mission to rescue his old friend.
